Representation How can it be demonstrated that Representation is perceived as a key activity that is pursued effectively with desired results? A3. Governance How does the Union regularly review its governance structure, roles and responsibilities, decision-making processes and accountability to ensure they assist satisfying member needs? |

WHAT IS THIS UNION AIMING TO ACHIEVE? How is the Union forward thinking, innovative in providing a clear long term vision of its role in ensuring the wellbeing of all its members? B2. Objectives and Yearly Plans How does the Union provide specific objectives and comprehensive planning arrangements for all services and activities? B3. Customer Focus Has the Union a strong membership focus; identifying their needs and taking appropriate steps to satisfy them? |

IS THERE QUALITY STEWARDSHIP? Does the Union operate as a total entity recognising and demonstrating the inter-relationship between all it's activities and services? C2. Effective Performance Does the Union set specific objectives based on member needs and undertake rigorous performance review and outcome measurement? C3. Political Management How has the Union defined the roles and responsibilities of elected representatives and staff? Does this allow challenge, including political dialogue, promoting a strong and sustainable partnership? |
